    Senior Middleware Administration Professional Responsibilities:


    Maintain, optimize and troubleshoot a variety of Middleware Application Integrations

    Write and implement scripts for automated provisioning and deployment

    Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and document needs assessment

    Collaborate with solutioning peers to design and deliver client solutions

    • Review and work on tickets assigned to the team
    • Update the tickets accordingly in the client’s tool of choice
    • Provide 24x7 support when required, in a rotational basis
    • Monitor availability/utilization of servers
    • Monitor of running/scheduled jobs
    • Perform application deployments and rollbacks in case of failure
    • Troubleshoot deployment failures issues
    • Communicate with development team
    • Conduct access provisioning tasks
    • Perform outages handling
    • Perform patch installation (hot fixes/service releases) and formulate a rollback strategy if needed
    • Creation of technical documentation (e.g. runbooks)
    • Provide technical expertise in projects
    • Performance management; derive and deliver solutions to enhance service levels
    • Product (software) installation and configuration as per the architectural design of the environments
    • Communicate with client’s technical team (e.g. DBA, Security Administrators, Network Administrators)
    • Apply industry best practices and standards to assist in providing optimum and reliable infrastructure solutions


    Senior Middleware Administration Professional Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of Hands-on experience working as an Administrator with TIBCO tools:
    • TIBCO Administrator
    • TIBCO Hawk
    • TIBCO BW
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience working as a System Administrator, Application Support Analyst or Application Steward and currently working in an intermediate role
    • Experience leading technical teams and projects; providing team guidance and leadership
    • Experience in developing technical documentation
    • Experience working as part of a DevOps team an asset
    • Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, Amazon Web Services) an asset
    • Experience working with TIBCO Mashery an asset
    • Experience working with TIBCO BPM an asset
    • Development experience an asset
    •  Good knowledge of monitoring/performance management
    • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux
    • Good knowledge of MS Windows administration an asset
    • Good knowledge on any scripting language

    • Basic knowledge of RDBMS and SQL concepts
    • Willing and available to travel
