    Joining our Integration Practice as a DevOps Professional is your first step towards being part of an exciting team working with emerging technologies and delivering enterprise-class solutions.

     

    What does a DevOps Integration Professional at Groundswell Group do?

     

    • Maintain, optimize and troubleshoot a variety of Middleware Application Integrations
    • Write and implement scripts for automated provisioning and deployment
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and document needs assessment
    • Design and Implement service infrastructure keeping in mind availability, scalability and security
    • Install and configure performance management tools and monitor systems accordingly
    • Provide competent OS administration (Windows/Linux/Unix)
    • Able to configure high availability/fault tolerant systems
    • Prepare and update documentation for future reference and maintenance needs
    • Monitor system performance to ensure proper operation and identify possible problem areas
    • Adapt automations to accommodate special and complex needs while ensuring designs or enhancements interface with existing/legacy systems as required
    • Analyze business issues and develop optimum solution
    • Working competently and confidently in multiple technical environments

    Qualifications

    Qualifications for Success:

     

    • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
    • Experience in DevOps or SRE methodology is desirable
    • Proficiency in WebLogic and OFMW administration
    • Experienced in Linux/Unix OS
    • Proficiency in various scripting languages:
      • Shell
      • Perl
      • Python
      • VBScript
      • JavaScript
    • Knowledge of some of the DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible is a plus
    • Proficient in Monitoring tools like App D, Splunk etc
    • Working Knowledge of Middleware products like Service Bus (OSB), Message Broker (JMS) etc.
    • Strong background in Change Management and Incident Management
    • Experience in troubleshooting production issues and working with Customers and other teams to find a resolution
    • Prior knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD Pipeline) is a plus
    • Working knowledge of databases and basic SQL queries
    • Strong knowledge of Data Integration concepts
      • Sources, Targets, Advanced Transformations, Staging, Middleware
    • Working knowledge of SDLC & IT Processes, requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support
    • Experience in OOD using UML and SDLC using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
    • Experience with RESTFUL Web Services and SOAP Web Services using various data formats (JSON, XML) to write third-party application interfaces.
    • Experience is SOA frameworks and web services integration via SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, and Java.
    • Experience in a client facing consulting role
    • Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as are good tact and diplomacy, as the role requires constant communication with many individuals and teams
    • Ability to travel
